




The African Roots Connection radio program is aired every Saturday morning from 9 to
10 on FM 89.9 KMOJ - The People's Station.
The producer and presenter, Charles C Dennis invites guests who are
experts/professionals to educate/inform listeners about their services or area of
expertise. We cover wide range of issues affecting the African, African American and
the community as a whole. Our topic includes but are not limited to religion, education,
health, immigration, socio-economic developments, self empowerment and politics.
Charles C Dennis is from Liberia and started his broadcast career at the Liberia
Broadcasting System in 1992. The African Roots Connection started in September of
2003. It is very informative, educational and an entertaining radio program. Listeners
are allowed to call in and engage our guests.
Al-Jerome A. Chede, who is also a journalist from Liberia, worked for the ELCM, Star
and radio Monrovia in Liberia. Al- Jerome brings up to the minute newscast from the
African continent. Each program is digitally recorded and web cast for our broad base
